Latin America Tour stop #2 Mexico

After Peruvian Inka Challenge, the second stage of IBA Latin Tour will be host on Mexico, on August. The event will take place in perfect barrels of Zicatela between 04th and 13th.

The event is also a Grand Slam stage and will offer 2000 points on Latin Ranking. The Latin Tour is very important because offers points on GQS Ranking in the end of 2011. Also the Latin Tour is a qualifying for Pipeline event in 2012.

Bodyboarding is going to a new level and all regions and Latin Tour proves this. This circuit is very important for the riders that are intending to get on GSS nex year


The currently latin champion and the number 1 in 2011 are from Brazil. Magno Oliveira is 2x Latin Champion and still in the race for his third title. Lucas Nogueira is leading the circuit and wants another good result in Zicatela.

Latin Circuit has confirmed events for Brazil, Chile, Venezuela and Puerto Rico in 2011.

Circuito Latino – Segunda Válida


Despues de las olas peruanas el circuito latino sigue con las disputas en Agosto. Entre los dias 04 y 13, la playa de Zicatela, en Mexico, recibe los mejores riders. Valida como etapa de GSS, la competencia también ofrece 2000 puntos en el Circuito Latino

Aunque el Circuito Latino es valido tambien como clasificatorio para la competencia de Pipeline, en 2012.

El deporte está pasando por otra etapa y esta nueva estructura muestra la fuerza en todas las regiones del planeta. Circuito Latino es muy fuerte y tiene un factor fundamental para los atletas que es de utilizar los puntos para el ranking mundial".

Campeón em 2010, Magno Oliveira busca mejorar el resultado en la valida de México. Maguinho fue uno de los riders más destacados de la edición de 2010. Además, Maguinho es el actual campeón del circuito y dije que luchará por su tercer titulo.

El actual líder del ranking es Nogueira Lucas. El brasileño, que también forma parte de la elite mundial bodyboard, quiere mantener el liderazgo del tour.

Las proximas validas del circuito latino ha confirmado por Brasil, Chile(Iquique), Venezuela y Puerto Rico.
