The RIPTIDE MAGAZINE 2009 Peer Poll.
Friends, it’s that time of the year once again; your chance to vote for the riders who you believe to be the best bodyboarders in the world right now. Last year Mitch Rawlins grabbed the title for the first time since 2004. Ben Player narrowly finished second and Ryan Hardy was not far behind him for third. 2009’s been an interesting year though, with the further globalisation of bodyboarding, and the top of the tour being seriously dominated by a broad spectrum of international riders. The level of riding seen globally has been phenomenal over the last 12 months and it’ll be a tight poll to see who can take the number one position.
From Hawaii 08/09 and the Pipe Comp, to the inaugural Peruvian Challenge, to the Arica Chilean Challenge and European leg of the tour (including the Sintra, Sopelana and Ferroll Pros).
From the rest of the 2009 IBA World Tour, to the 2009 BBA Australian Tour.
And ALL the other riding (including any videos or magazines) you’ve seen between October 2008 and October 2009 and there’s been some serious ripping!
